the marriage. But as to the parental family I don't know that there is a solution, except through a publication such as yours eventually causing some dent in the minds of the public in understanding and accepting the TV.........

Editorial Note:

At about this point as a perspective-keeper amid all the letters of approval I was going to insert one of the two disapproving letters received, but find that I cannot locate it and possibly forgot to keep it. Anyway the burden of this friends complaint was that he didnt like Transvestia because there was not enough "buzz". He fur- ther illustrated this with the statement that the word "panties" was not even mentioned in No. 2. Just for the hell of it I glanced rapidly thru it and found at least three occasions where "panties" appeared. In order that he could go back and get his "buzz" and thereby his money's worth I gave him the page and line.references. I do hope the little Bee is "buzzing" happily now.

I might add in relation to this complaint that I have been very pleased that there are so many of you who take TV for something more than a "buzz". It has confirmed the faith that led me to think that one could publish a magazine that was for TVs but was not just an erotic rag. The interest shown in the Poll results to date on the more serious and less exciting aspects of the subject has really been quite enlightening.

The only other disapproving letter was one that ob- jected because "If he wanted to hear a lecture on psych- ology he would go back to school or could read a book in the library". I wrote and begged him to please inform me promptly of the appearance of any really informative books on TV, and if any University began giving lectures on Transvestism to notify me via Western Union Collect immediately. That'll be the day, girls! I bet the prof- essor's class would have a lot more "co-eds" than males. Maybe they could have a lab section along with it, study- ing "The Proper Location of Falsies in Relation to the Clavicle", or "The Bsychological Aspects of Waist Nippers".
